Roster Set for 2023 Rocket Mortgage High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships
HOUSTON (March 30, 2023) – The 2023 Rocket Mortgage High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships roster has been announced, featuring 12 of the nation’s premier high school athletes. The 12th annual event, which will showcase the dunking and long-range shooting talents of 12 of the country’s premier high school seniors, will take place at the Bayou Music Center in downtown Houston on Friday at 7 p.m. CT. CBS will air the event at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.
The players will compete in a number of different events during the competition, including the King’s Hawaiian Slam Dunk Championship, the TaxAct Boys and Girls 3-Point Championships, and the Applebee’s Team Shootout. The winners of the Boys and Girls 3-point competitions will square off in the Rocket Mortgage Battle of the Champions.

Numerous current professional and college hoops stars have introduced themselves to the basketball world as part of the High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships, including a trio of current Houston Rockets in Jabari Smith, Jalen Green (committed in 2020) and Kevin Porter Jr. Additionally, all-stars like Trae Young, Donovan Mitchell, Ariel Atkins and Jordin Canada have competed in the event.
