Thursday March 30 | 6:30 PM
Each year, 24 of the nation’s elite men’s and women’s college basketball players will compete for slam dunk and 3-point shooting bragging rights. The night features the King’s Hawaiian Slam Dunk Championship, the TaxAct Men’s 3-Point Championship, the Women’s 3-Point Shooting Championship and the Applebee’s Team Shootout. The winners of the Men’s and Women’s 3-Point Championships will then compete in the Battle of the Champions.
Since the event’s inception, several of the top players in college basketball have competed in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships before moving on to the professional ranks, including Gary Payton, Steve Nash, Jason Terry, Kyle Korver, Bobby Hurley, Michael Finley, Allan Houston, Wesley Matthews, Denzel Valentine, Yogi Ferrell, Cappie Pondexter, Katie Gearlds, Kristi Toliver, Odyssey Sims, Tiffany Hayes, Tiffany Mitchell and Ariel Atkins.

The High School Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships features 12 of the top High School basketball players in the nation as they compete in skills competitions. Four players compete in each of these events: Boy’s 3-Point, Girl’s 3-Point, Battle of the Champions, Slam Dunk, Team Shootout. Rosters will be released closer to the event.
Alumni of the event include the Sacramento Kings’ Buddy Hield (2012 3-Point), the Washington Mystics’ Ariel Atkins (2014 3-Point), the Memphis Grizzlies’ Grayson Allen (2014 Slam Dunk), the Seattle Storm’s Jordin Canada (2014 3-Point), the Utah Jazz’s Donovan Mitchell (2015 Slam Dunk), the Orlando Magic’s Markelle Fultz (2016 Slam Dunk), the Atlanta Hawks’ Trae Young (2017 3-Point) and the Cleveland Cavaliers’ Collin Sexton (2017 3-Point).
